Moana liveaboard
Moana is a traditional phinisi schooner made of the ironwood and teck coming from Sulawesi, Irian Jaya and Kalimantan. It touched the water for the first time in 2004 and since then offers unforgettable adventures to the divers and non-divers.
Its name comes from Maori language, and signifies a sea lover. In Polynesia Moana means a sea god but it can be also interpreted as a deep blue, a color coming from the color of the ocean (“lanu moana”). It is a perfect name for everyone impatient to immerse in the fantastic waters of Komodo. But do not shorten it to “Moa”, from a sea god will become a chicken
Moana perfectly blends the traditional construction with modern design. The Moana liveaboard can host up to 10 guests in air-conditioned cabins, double or twin shared, with en-suite bathrooms.
The common spaces are large and offer all the comfort. The indoor salon is air-conditioned, divers can also choose to stay on the deck, equipped with a big dining table. Nature lovers can sleep on the deck and watch the stars.
