Cajoma IV is a phinisi boat which got on the waters of Komodo National Park in 2015. This model was mainly built by the Konjo tribe, a sub-ethnic group inhabiting South Sulawesi. First ships of this type, modelled from the Dutch ships appeared in this region in XVI century. During the alliance with Dutch this type of ships was used for transporting marchandises and for fishing. Some sources quote that they have been used as war ships during the Indonesian fight for independence.
Today the boat is a peaceful boat, serving again for transpport purposes.
Spacious, with one master bedroom, two deluxe double rooms and one twin room offers maximum of privacy and comfort to its guests. Every room is equipped in its own bathroom and air conditioning. The cook serves a delicious variety of Indonesian and western meals.
